Something New

Being a beginner is humbling. Especially if you're doing something you're not naturally good at. Which is why starting something new sometimes feels scary.

There's the risk of looking silly or making a mistake or not being confident about the outcome. On the other hand there's the reward of progress, discovery, and growth.

I'm always trying new things, some with less success than others. Playing around with flowers is one of those things. I'm a novice and have no natural talent for it, so it's not surprising that my arrangement didn't turn out as expected. I still like it, though. I'll just have to keep practicing.
