Library Nerd | Travel Challenge Day 7

I’m a library nerd. Getting lost in a world of books brings joy to my heart. Day 7 of the travel challenge is a nod to my lifelong love of reading.

Library of Congress - Washington, D.C.

I am a card-carrying member of the world’s largest library, The Library of Congress. It’s all thanks to my daughter, my fellow word nerd. Checking off this life goal was at the top of her list of things to do in Washington, D.C.

The Library of Trinity College – Dublin, Ireland

While there’s other really interesting stuff to see in the Old Library, what everyone comes to see is the Long Room. It’s a long, narrow space with floor to ceiling shelves of old and rare books. All of which takes a backseat to the stunning beauty of the arched ceiling.
