Hi, I’m Traci.

I’m glad you stopped by so I could tell you that you were intended to live fully and joyfully. It's time to take control of your life and live the life you always wanted.

In these unprecedented and anxious times, it’s important to rally around loved ones to comfort, uplift, and spread joy. Simply letting someone know that you’re thinking of them as you deliver a handcrafted card or gift is a small act of kindness that can have a really big impact.

The gift box in this set was inspired by scrapdaworld’s Purse|Packaging Series on YouTube. The original project was for a hexagon purse. I dropped the handle from my design and went with a tucked closure, as a I wanted a cleaner, less-fussy look.

The size of this box was perfect for the faux succulent gift that I picked up at the Target dollar spot. Cute enough to brighten anyone’s day and safe enough for even those without green thumbs.

The pattern paper used for both the gift box and card are part of the Along the Way collection by Jen Hadfield.

While the pieces for creating the hexagon box can be cut and scored by hand, I prefer the ease and precision of the Cricut. So I created it as a project in Design Space. You can find it here: Hexagon Gift Box.

Tips for using the Design Space project:

  • Don’t forget to delete the Print & Cut layer that serves as a key.

  • I recommend using 65 lb or 85 lb cardstock. I tried it with 110 lb as the base cardstock and found it to be too bulky

  • My design has some slight differences from Tmika’s version, but the assembly instructions are still the same. Her full tutorial can be found here: Hexagon Purse #4.

Happy Crafting,

Traci
