Hot Season Trends | Animal Print + Coated Denim

Today's outfit is brought to you by two of this season's hottest trends -- animal print + coated denim. I can't get enough of either. It’s safe to say that I’m pretty wild about leopard, a print that can be found in my wardrobe, my home decor, my tablescapes, and even in my planning journals. I fell in love with coated demin a few years ago. It has the look of leather with the comfort of your favorite pair of jeans. Scroll to the end of the post to see this outfit in action. The pants are the latest addition to my coated denim collection because I couldn't resist adding, just one more piece. 😉

The Blouse
This long sleeve blouse in Leopard from WHBM has been a staple in my fall/winter wardrobe for years and I still love to wear it. It has a hemline that hits just above the hips. The length provides enough coverage to hide my problem areas, but is still short enough to be worn tucked in. There’s also a lining which helps with drape and keeps the sheer fabric from being see through. The sleeves are simple with a small tie at the wrist. Shhh 🤫...don't tell anyone but I'm actually wearing it backwards in the photo because it fits better that way.

The Pants
The pants are the mid-rise coated moto skinny jeans in Fatigue, also by WHBM. They are the latest addition to my coated denim collection because I couldn't resist adding, just one more piece. 😉

At first glance and in low lighting, this deeply saturated olive green could be mistaken for black. It's a shade that works as a neutral giving me the flexibility to pair it with most anything in my closet.
