Now that October 2020, has come to a close, I'm looking back at the month with joy and gratitude and wondering how it seemed to pass so quickly. Which is why I'm ready to step into November with grace, faith, expectancy, and urgency. Time waits for no one! Life goes faster than you think.

The Look

When I saw this dress, I knew I wanted it for my fall wardrobe and waited patiently for it to go on sale. And it did. Just in time for my mini fall photoshoot with 2AM Photography. It's a fierce and feminine dress that combines two of my favorite prints: tiger and python. Delicate pleats and a high-low hemline contradict and complement the wild-at-heart prints.

The day of the shoot turned out to be a warm October day with low humidity. I was comfortable in the halter style and didn't need anything to cover my arms. I have plans to wear this dress throughout the season, so as the temps cool I'll be pairing it with a structured jacket to give it a look that’s equal parts powerful and pretty -- a true statement of my personal style.
