Wine'd Down Friday
When it comes to winding down after a long work week, kicking back with friends over a glass of wine (or two) is a refreshing way to start the weekend. Add in some tasty bites and some lively conversation and you've got yourself a wine'd down Friday.
The Davidson Wine Co. is a gem in the Lake Norman Community. They are globally sourced, locally crafted, and black-owned. You can enjoy wines from their private collection by the glass, by the bottle, or even as part of a flight. I ordered a Cabernet Sauvignon and was very pleased with my choice. Of course I took a sip of my friend's glass of Syrah. It was equally delightful.
We were hoping for a seat on the patio, but without reservations it would have been an extremely long wait. We got lucky and scored an indoor corner table that was very socially distanced from the other patrons. Not wanting to drink on an empty stomach we ordered a charcuterie and cheese board, along with a margherita flatbread. It was so tasty and you can tell they don't skimp on quality. The menus change seasonally, so check the website for the current offerings.
The Davidson Wine Co. is definitely worth a visit. Maybe I'll see you there because I'll definitely be returning again.
Cheers,
