Jun 14 Polka Dot Dress | Navy + Red + White

Navy + Red + White are the primary colors for my summer capsule wardrobe which is still very much a work in progress.

Starting with a tri-color palette really simplified the process of building a capsule wardrobe. It's an iterative process that I'll be documenting on the blog.

About the Outfit

I love everything about this outfit, especially the blue and white polka dots. It was the thing that first caught my eye about the dress. It’s a sleeveless fit and flare silhouette with front buttons. And YES, it has pockets. It comes with a matching tie belt that I replaced with a red stretch belt to balance the red shoes. I topped with my navy cardigan and pearl necklace to give it a classic flair.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this outfit goes on to be the poster-outfit for the entire capsule . It showcases all three of the primary colors in my palette.
