Gift Box Idea | Valentine’s Day 2022
GAL, PAL, or VALentine’s Day? Or all three? Gift boxes are a special treat, no matter the occasion. Recipients will appreciate that you took the time to think of them.
These fun boxes came together compliments of an SVG cut file and my Cricut Maker. I also did a mini shopping haul to source items. My first stop was Pop Shelf -- a high end version of Dollar General. Have you been to one? They have seasonal items, home decor, housewares, crafts, beauty items, and more. Of course I visited all of my old favorites, too -- Home Goods, Target, TJ Maxx, and Michael's.
Then, it was time to assemble. Here are a few tips I keep in mind when creating gift boxes:
Build around a theme. A curated collection will feel more special.
Go for whimsy and wow. Fill it with a mix of functional and fun items.
Don’t forget the packaging. Presentation matters.
