End of An Era
I had my first look inside the new NoDa Company Canteen located in the Boileryard at CNE. The vibe is chic, tropical, and modern with a matching menu that includes beer, wine, mimosas, and sangria. There's lots of indoor and outdoor seating and charcuterie-like snacks are also available.
I was there to help the CampFam say farewell to my daughter, Zavia who was a member of the Camp North End events team for the past four years. I'm so proud of how much she's grown as a person and as a professional who will be missed by her co-workers. She's moving on to new opportunities where she'll continue to make positive impacts on the future of Charlotte.
Zavia's promotion to "customer" at Camp North End marks the end of an era for our entire family. We've all felt a special connection to this place with the privilege of seeing the progress of this multi-year project through the eyes of an insider. On future visits, we'll be just be like any other regular, but no less enthusiastic about all the space offers. It's the end of an era, but certainly not the end of our love for Camp North End.
