Hi, I’m Traci.

I’m glad you stopped by so I could tell you that you were intended to live fully and joyfully. It's time to take control of your life and live the life you always wanted.

It's February - 2021

It's February - 2021

It's February -- Black History month, Heart Health Awareness month, my birthday month, and the start of my personal planning year.

When I plan I like to start with the big picture by looking at my goals and intentions for an entire calendar year. From there I break down what actions I need to take to reach my goals. Followed by organizing them in quarterly or monthly sprints.

I used to stress about getting all of this done prior to January 1, so that I could feel good about starting a new calendar year with all my "ducks in a row." I've found that by giving myself until February 1, to start my personal year it brings more ease because I'm working with, not against, my natural rhythmns.

February works because it gives me time to transition out of the holiday season without feeling rushed. It's also still early enough in the year that I don't get anxious thinking that I'm falling behind. Finally, with February being my birth month it seems fitting to also use it to birth a new personal year.

Any fellow planners out there? Do you start on Jan.1 or choose another date?
